July 10, 2020 - We Have Officially Opened!!!

The last day to request a refund or go inactive for the 2020 Season is July 10, 2020. If you paid your annual dues and have not declared your intent, there will be no refunds or deferrals after the 10 July, 2020 deadline. If you change your mind and wish to go Active, you will be required to pay your annual dues. ​ WE HAVE OFFICIALLY OPENED Members Only! No Guests this Year 2020 Memberships Available!!! Follow us on Instagram & Facebook! also: Check your email!! Pool Opening on July 1st, 2020!!! Please note the following: Pool usage will be open to paid members in good standing only

If finances permit and the state continues to remain in Phase 3, we are considering extending the swim season through September (modified hours TBD).

If the state reverts back to Phase 2, Phase 1, or shutdown, recreational swimming will not be allowed to continue

All members have the option to go inactive this season for the $50 inactive fee

We will be open from 12:30pm to 8pm Mon/Wed/Thurs/Frid 12;30 - 8pm TUESDAYS 1:30-8 pm. Weekends 11:00-8:00PM weekends. Hours will be monitored and changes may be required as guidelines and budget warrant

The coke machine is being removed and the snack machine will not be stocked

One refrigerator will be available for lifeguard use only, no membership usage allowed.

NO recreation equipment will be in use - basketball, four square, water basketball, pool toys

Picnic areas cannot be reserved for parties during pool open hours

Pool rentals will be allowed

No Guest passes will be issued this season

All children under the age of 13 (or any age that has difficulty maintaining social distancing should be accompanied by an parent/guardian)

Members will be asked to limit their time if there is a particularly busy day to give everyone space and time to use the pool

The following procedures will be in place: 1) All members should use their ID cards to scan into the pool at the check in station upon arriving. (Scanning will eliminate contact with a keyboard/mouse and therefore fewer surfaces to disinfect)

2) All household groups should maintain social distance from other groups of 10 ft both in and out of the pool.

3) A limited amount of furniture will be placed around the pool deck spaced 10 feet apart.

4) Lifeguards will sanitize tables/seating areas as members depart the pool.

5) Shower facilities will be closed, restrooms are open for use. An outdoor shower is now available to use to shower before entering the pool.

6) Hand sanitizer will be located throughout the facility.

7) Due to Covid 19, there will be an increased cleaning of the facilities.

8) The pool will be open at up to 75% occupancy. (Occupancy may need to be lower than 75% to maintain 10 feet of social distancing, this will be monitored as we open.)

9) Anyone who cannot comply with all guidelines will be asked to leave the pool for that day.

10) If you or a member of your household feel unwell or have the following symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath --- PLEASE stay home and contact your health care provider!

The OakRidge Swim Club Board of Directors continues to monitor all policies and guidelines as it relates to opening for the 2020 season. We are working several initiatives/solutions that we hope will lead to opening for our members. Emails and surveys have been and are being sent to all members. You will see activity at the pool. Lifeguards are being trained and daily maintenance is occurring. We are also contracting with a local swim team to allow them to swim laps. The funds from this endeavor will allow us to stay open, without using current funds or 2020 dues to continue to keep the pool operational, in the event that we can open fully for our members.
